The report ‘Transparency and good governance of universities. Transfer Review 2015 ‘, prepared by the Commitment & Transparency Foundation, places the University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM) among the most transparent universities in the Spanish system. The academic institution achieves 20 of the 26 established indicators, completing the blocks of economic information, staff, students, government, mission and strategic plan.

First Citizen Forum with the regional government
The University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM) has participated in the Citizen Forum, organized by the regional government, held in Toledo to discuss the implementation of the government program and make proposals to the Government. The lowest investment on resources in relation to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) carried out by Castilla-La Mancha with respect to other autonomous communities on academic education, research and development (R & D) focused the proposals of the Regional University for the next four years. The goal is to reduce the investment gaps in these areas to converge with other regions in labor force and technological resources, attracting companies based on knowledge and contributing business network innovation from the University.

69% of new graduates with an occupation are working in the region
The EVERIS Foundation has published a study on employability highlighting the education received by the graduates of the University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM), by placing it among the top 10 of a total of 72 universities analyzed. The UCLM stands out in the education provided to its graduates on Science and Engineering studies and Health and Welfare, according to the opinion from a total of 2,000 companies surveyed. The study, which analyzed 21,637 hiring of recent graduates conducted from 2011 to 2015, also reveals that 69% of UCLM graduates surveyed are working in companies located in Castilla-La Mancha. According to two reports elaborated by the Knowledge and Development Foundation
The Knowledge and Development Foundation (FCYD) has indicated, in recent reports, that Castilla-La Mancha is, along with Catalonia, the first Spanish region in which the graduates have a higher activity rate; the second region in which the chance of having an occupation by the fact of being in possession of a university degree has increased; and the third autonomous community in which the graduates find more highly qualified jobs, only behind Navarre and Catalonia.

Leadership on Opening, Awards and Research Development
In the first weeks of July, the reports about the Spanish universities, elaborated by the Conference of Spanish Universities Rectors (CRUE) and the Knowledge and Development Foundation (FCYD), were presented. Both reports analyse thoroughly the Spanish University System with numbers and statistics. As significant results, it is noted that the University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM) is the most open in terms of its Teaching and Research staff training, one of the most awarded universities on research standing in the first position in the Sciences field, improving in scientific publications in the last 10 years.
